Here I am again ....with one more stupid ques...

Has anyone thought of paying the BA Amex balance using the same topup card, since it functions like a debit card - is it not a recommended practice or am i being stupid here - just thinking to avoid multiple loops and hops to bring the money sitting in the toped-up card?
