I have just had my request to transfer money into zopa declined! The fun may be over already. The standard email said that i may have typed the number wrong so i tried again but got the same email back. I wonder if they have rumbled this already. Imwas using the visa debit option when trying to pay into zopa.

Thanks for using our online debit card form to transfer money into your Zopa account. Unfortunately there was a problem processing your request, and we weren’t able to take the money from your bank account.

The problem seems to have been with the card itself, so either you entered your details incorrectly or the bank blocked the payment because of a maximum transfer limit. The best thing to do is to get in contact with your bank to check everything’s OK and then try again.

And don’t forget that if all else fails, you can always transfer money into Zopa using a bank transfer or a standing order instead. You must provide your unique Zopa reference number with the bank transfer, otherwise we won’t be able to identify the payments from you. You can locate this reference number once logged into your Zopa account in the 'Transfer Money In' section under 'Bank Transfer'.
