I just logged into my account and went to the <My Account> link and then <Sign in and ID> link and my full name shows up with my middle initial showing in a larger font. Non of which I can change on-line, but it does look like it's at least there and associated with the account.

Just received an email reminding me about the Summer Extension sale which also contains a paragraph about Secure Flight:
Effective August 12, 2009, the TSA will require you to provide full legal name, gender, birth date and redress number (if available) when purchasing a ticket from Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. By providing this information in advance, most passengers will not experience any differences from the way they traveled before.
I called AS and the agent said that as of tomorrow, there will be a way to add the middle initial to existing reservations, but he wasn't very specific about how exactly it would work except to suggest that they would "help out." Hopefully this can be done online, and everyone won't have to call to have their info updated.
