Would definitely recommend the Conrad in BNE over the Hilton. Stayed there on a trip "home" just a few weeks ago, also for just over A$200 IIRC. Conrad has a lot more atmosphere than the Hilton, and is equally well situated in the City, being just near the "top" of the Queen St Mall.
