Kempinski MUC Airport says no to free dayroom for first class.

I wanted to book a complimentary dayroom for a first class customer arriving on LH in first from JFK at the Kempinski Munich Airport.

I've done this numerous times.

Today I got a reply that said they were unable to offer this on September 30 due to Oktoberfest.

LH says they are surprised by this as they don't show it subject to blackout dates.

The Kempinski is offering a dayroom at EUR 150, but can't they just bill LH?Don't they bill them anyway? I doubt LH gets these rooms for free.

What is interseting is they are offering regular rooms for this night at EUR 160 which tells me it doesn't seem to be a big demand night as far as Oktoberfest goes.

Any suggestions? Should I ask LH if they will issue some kind of voucher for the hotel?

Normally one just has to show their F class arrival boarding pass.

Thanks.
