I've booked and upgraded 3 sets of returns on AC, YWG - LHR - YWG, no problems with upgrades as now my travel agent can 1) Search for availability in "C" class, 2) book me in economy on an Apex fare and 3) immediatly upgrade me and 4) do the seat alocation. Altogether far simpler than having to call an elite centre. The biggest problem is that the AC computers dont recognise my CPplus number and they have to phone Cp to check me out, but this does not seem to effect the time for the miles to register on my account which was 4 days last time.
