"Worth" is in the eyes of the spender. For me it is is worth it, although if I am going to be gone longer than 5-6 days, it's cheaper to get a car service to the airport. It really becomes cost effective on a short 1-2 day trip.

Knowing you will have a guaranteed parking space close to the terminal and out of the weather is pretty valuable to me.
