My expectation is very simple:
If you offer a BENEFIT to somebody that exceeds what the general customer is getting, at least make that benefit a benefit.
I do not expect to get 'special' seats that a general customer would not get, but being able to reserve a seat that is open for EVERYBODY at check in I thought I should be able to get as a pre-reserved seat as well.
As I said, I do not expect to get the XL seats that are for those paying for it or having that benefit as a gold member, but at OLCI I can get the bulkhead row even when I was a general member..... So why not up front..???
Probably the only benefit of the SILVER level for me......Priority boarding is virtually non-existing and the Priority security lanes are not monitored by any staff either, priority check in is obsolte since I use OLCI. Only other benefit would be additional luggage, but me being mostly on short business trips I do not really have a lot of luggage...
