I'm sure that DL has good reasons for ending the Priority Pass relationship...although I suspect the percentage of WC members who were not aware they could use CRCs was very low.
I think it was partly the hassle factor of agents signing in PP members at peak times.
The airline may believe SC amenities are SO special that most PP cardholders will sign up.
They likely miscalculated.
