I believe cut-off for check-in of Club and First passengers in the States is one hour before departure. It is not t-45 minutes like Heathrow/Gatwick. International airlines operating in the States have to allow for additional time for TSA security checks and screening, not to mention most security check-points do not have a dedicated fast-track/priority lane(s) to expedite passengers.
