Absolutely. $150 change fees and RJs have killed these routes. Any 1hr trip I fly now goes to WN if that is an option. People have reacted sanely and logically by flocking to WN on such trips.
UA had the right idea (by the consumer) years ago with Shuttle - no change fees, all mainline flights, miles and an F cabin one could get into. If that model couldn't make it, nothing else will... WN has rightfully earned the traffic.
