Go via HKG and 5J. It is the most convenient and least travel time. Going landside in HKG is painless. Prepay your excess baggage online on 5J (buy an exit row too) and 2.5 hours later you're looking at some nice water. MI via SIN is way longer, has a potential stop in DVO, and doesn't earn any miles anyhow unless you're banking to SQ.

The flights down from ICN can be long flights in crap equipment (the second OZ flt still is a 320) and MNL is a landside transfer (and pain) regardless.
