Reviving this thread - a few more Qs:

(1) Generally, how available are 1st Class Upgrades on this route?
(2) After the upgrade is processed, am I entitled to the F baggage allowance?
(3) The site says "If available, you may purchase an upgrade to a First Class seat on the day of departure when you check-in at airport kiosks, check-in counters, and on the web." Does this mean 24 hours in advance, or at some point after midnight?
(4) How restrictive are they with carry-on? Are there carry-on police?
