At HGI Cleveland Gateway also received breakfast coupon, water, no upgrade. Front desk guy asked if i wanted to "hook up later for drinks"- not very professional.

HGI Franklin Square DC-no water, no upgrade, continental breakfast coupons (add more for hot buffet). Restaurant has restrictive opening hours but a nice lunch buffet. Business center is horrible, extremely slow dial-up connection that often doesn't work.

HGI Portland airport-my first HGI room upgrade (minisuite), very friendly staff, free coffe and teabar in the lobby, breakfast coupons.

HGI Houston Airport-2 water bottles, breakfast, no upgrade.

HGI Columbus/Dublin OH-Water, breakfast, no upgrade.

I have noticed in general most HGI properties are exactly the same in decor nd benefits. Annoying that they sometimes are too cheap to give you a full breakfast. Nice that they all have free microwaves and business center use. I have sent international faxes, made copies, and phone calls for free at most locations business center.
