Verizon setup without a hassle

I just set up my Verizon account for Europe. My BlackBerry Storm is now "converted" for about half of $65 -- i.e., $64.99/mo. prorated for my 16 days in Germany/Poland/Denmark. That gives me unlimited data/browsing, and for $4.99 prorated I am able to make (quite expensive) calls -- $2.29/min. in Poland, $1.29/min. elsewhere. My wife's Verizon phone is not equipped with GSM so we'll get a loaner from Verizon -- free except for $9.99 shipping. There's a $200 "restocking fee" if we don't ship it back within 30 days. No prorated fee for texting, but messages are 50 cents to send, 5 cents to receive. The customer service agent who set this up for us was efficient, clear, and patient with my many questions. Very unobtrusive -- they need your SIM card number, which merely involves a couple of menu clicks from "Options" on your phone to get a readout, and you're ready to go. I was able to set all this up now for a trip in September. I just posted this same info on another site that I was browsing to figure out how to do all this. Someone mentioned a 908 number as preferable to the 800 number but I couldn't find a 908 and the 800 folks transferred me.
