I so agree!

For the first time ever, a DL GA in ATL tried her utmost to get me, a lowly ST Elite+ on the upgrade list for a flight that was overbooked in Y. She got me on the list, but could not clear me. But, she did try and try again ...

After which, I had no problem telling her, don't worry, I'll pay the $50 for the upgrade, which worked like a charm. But, for the first time, I got some love from DL for being a ST Elite+ ....

In conclusion, yes, it's a transition period ... but it will pass, just have some patience with everyone.
