Total no-brainer: NZ hands down. I would seriously question anyone's recommendation to fly UA or LH on this route unless you were a 1K and could get the double RDM and also upgrade to F with an SWU, but even then I would probably take NZ C over UA F on the 777 (and for sure over LH F). NZ's lounge in LAX and its staf there are superb as well.
