Trust an EWR connection in early Sept?
I need to take flight 1889 IAH-SMF (6pm) on Sept 5.

I can fly directly DCA-IAH-SMF or DCA-EWR-IAH-SMF for, no joke, $1 more, and pick up an extra 400 EQs. 1889 is a 6pm flight. The EWR-IAH flight is 411 arriving IAH at 2pm.

Last time I went thru EWR the delays cost me a hotel room. Should I trust this connection?
