Points on an award stay
I completed an award stay at the Cancun Hilton a little more than a week ago, and I was wondering if I should still get HHonors Points for any money I spent in the resort's restaurants and on drinks that I bought. Essentially, should I get points for what I paid for when I checked out or do you get no points at all when on a reward stay? If I am supposed to get points, then nothing has showed up in my account as of yet.
Does it take longer for points to post when staying at an international property? I know that anytime I have stayed at a US property my points have posted within one to two days of my checkout.
