Let me ask a question here specifically to the people who don't and say they CAN'T use PMU's - do you get the PMU's and leave them in your briefcase, backpack or a drawer somewhere and forget you have them/or assume you can't use them or DO you actually try to use them on Y/B/M fares or domestic k+ fares and can't find availability? Be honest.
In the last 4 years, I have used between 2 and 4 PMUs per year in the following situations:
- 1st choice: I am travelling on a hard to upgrade flight, e.g., LAX-ATL red-eye.
- 2nd choice: I am flying domestically with family and I have booked them in F.
- 3rd choice: Once I have used to fly to HI and once to LIM after buying M-fares
