In the past months I had some weird travel situations and I would like to compliment Delta for being so flexible.

• I just sat down in the airplane seat when my girl called with an urgent issue. I talked to her for a few minutes, got off the plane, got a rental car and rushed to her. Called Delta while I saw the plane take off at JFK and they changed my award ticket, for free, to a later date
• I had issues rebooking my award ticket - got a very friendly guy on the phone who did his best and routed me through Paris to Amsterdam on a few hours notice, on what appeared to be a far overbooked AF flight.
• I bought a M class ticket - no Z availability - Delta refunded the whole ticket the day after, day of flight, and rebooked a cheaper fare for the coach seats. No cancelation fees charged.
• After flying with KLM and AF, I now appreciate Delta more and more. Their service on the airport and in flight is superior.
