I wonder if people from Japan are flying to SLC for connections, but departing from a different US hub city?
Its Holiday period in Japan, so my NRT-LAX was 100% full on Tuesday (I got free upgrade). On my flight to Japan (flew ONT-SLC-NRT on July 22nd), it was very empty for summer, almost all center row seats had one person, and everyone had a flat bed, so its no surprise. Maybe they will use A330 to replace the 757 to Taiwan.
