I suggest the following:
1. start a website with info on this scandal and to let affected people join in an online petition (
www.unrefer-a-friend-expedia.com?)
2. start a facebook page for the same purpose, and to get affected people to join as fans (Then expedia can see for itself how many customers they have pissed off). Maybe start a myspace page too.
3. contact the media (as somebody has pointed out earlier) to further publicize our cause
4. do what roadtripman has done - publicize this in your signature
I can do the facebook thing, but am wondering if there's anyone out here who can sponsor a webhosting account for the website. We can get a cheap USD1.99 domain name from Yahoo (google for "yahoo 1.99 domain")
I think the negative publicity generated amongst current and potential users of expedia will pressurize them to reinstate our coupons, just as how FT efforts have changed the way promotions were done in the past (i.e. LHW 1929 promo).
I'm one step ahead of ya.

I got the domain and hosting from godaddy already.
