It was always on the cards that his reputation was going to be trashed in order to avoid embarrassment about either design flaw or maintenance problem.
To major corporates, an individual is expendable if it avoids possible class actions.
That horse has left the barn. The design of the aircraft has always been the primary focus as the cause. I do not recall anyone ever saying the pilots turned off the engines. In what way does saying the pilot froze absolve any major corporation of responsibility?
