dar al masyaf is probably the best regarded here.

i would hope the residence (also well regarded here) would still be ok, even if there have been changes. there are only ~50 rooms. but it is apparently near one of the palm islands.

not sure about your budget, or the food at the private restaurant (paging vuittonsofstyle) but there are also the beit al bahar villas with private pools at jumeirah beach hotel.
