OK, maybe the choice of words wasn't correct, but klparrot is right on the money. A mistake is made, no one gets hurt, no one gets put out, the mistake gets corrected, and still people want their pound of flesh. When did we all get so greedy? This isn't getting bumped involuntarily, or dealing with lost luggage - those sort of errors do put someone out. Retracting an offer for status - sheesh, people, get over yourselves. The rush to legal avenues is the mark of a true scrounger, and is the I-want-something-for-nothing attitude that, luckily, I see so rarely here in Quebec (tongue firmly in cheek).
