Was just there last Friday night. No upgrade (gold vip)...no cookie and no lotion or shampoo in the room. I did get 2 bottles of water though. Later received cookies and bathroom ammenities after my wife said something at the front desk. Also received a breakfast coupon for Au Bon Pain that included 1 pastry and 1 beverage (thanks a lot), which was scraps compared to the comp breakfast I received at the DT in Portland, ME, the previous night.

Parking is free but the hotel is a pain to get to with having to go through roundabouts and reversing directions to get to the hotel entrance. But then again, what part of Boston isn't a pain to drive through? They do have a shuttle though that will take you into downtown Boston.

There happened to be a graduation for the Univ. of Mass the following morning so people had flooded the hotel lobby and parking lot, which made it just wonderful for getting out the door. I'd imagine most conventions result in this type of atmosphere.

It was worth the free award stay, but I won't be going back.
