IMO, this is the key to your decision. Whether or not one rides in E- from LAX to SFO is immaterial, if you are concerned about whether or not you will make your Int'l cx. I believe you will with 2+ hours, but if you have any concerns, you should clearly stand by for an earlier inbound no matter WHAT the UG issue is.
