I am taking a tour of Vietnam that ends with an arrival in the early morning to Hanoi on an overnight train from the north (late September). My flight home leaves at midnight. Is it possible or common to get a hotel for the day so I can check in the AM, shower/nap/leave my luggage and then check out in the evening?

The downtown hotel they are dropping us off at has a 2PM checkin time posted on their website - I'm planning to email them but wanted to see if anyone here had a recommendation. thanks!
