This area is a desert. The nearest you can get to any form of 'luxury' is in Brighton, along the coast. Hotel du Vin is still the best bet here - very reasonably priced large suites, but avoid the rooms. Nice bistro style restaurant and good location in Brighton's historic Lanes.
