If you are stating that the Caribe is not a resort (I define resort as a property w/a decent amount of land, it's own large beach and is secluded) than yes I would not recommned the Caribe, IF A TRUE "RESORT" IS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.

But if you are looking for an action packed honeymoon, I could not disagree more, there is passion, soul and nightlife in San Juan that the other islands can't even come close to. There are also a multitude of activities on PR than on most islands. Go for what you want.

The fact that you are going in November would rule out staying at Hurricane belt islands, IMO (which rules out Hiltons in the Caribbean). I would assume that is why UK Stages listed Aruba which seems to be immune from Hurricanes (hurricanes do not seem to thrive in that part of the Caribbean). Aruba however, does not hold a candle to HI.
