Welcome to Flyertalk BA6501. I had been looking at potential connections via the Gulf and wondered if I was mad to think about it. I flew BMI a few years ago and I agree.... awful, it felt like a 1980's charter flight. Thank you for confirming my suspicions

I will take a look at the Gulf connections and probably do that, I may be able to chuck in some extra business visits en route.
