Thanks for the responses.

In case of full flight and needing to take later flight, I can't find any later flights out of Newark to Quebec City, Canada. I just need to know how long to wait or how full next flights are.

I have never been denied flight due to overflow on any airline and was always lucky to fly out. We often fly Southwest. This airline is new to us and it goes to Quebec City for a reasonable price.

(But I have missed one flight because we as a family of 7 going to Disney World checked in "one minute too late while standing in line for over over an hour & has to take another flight 5 hours later to different city, then rent a van for family of 7 to drive back to original destination that took another 4 hours!)

I am just concerned because I have to get to the cruise ship the next day. I don't want to fly two days before because it means missing work & paying hotel cost for two days before cruising. Is Newark airport very busy? We do have almost 3 hours layover after landing at Newark.

Just want to get all info on hand before deciding. Thanks!
