Anassa beach comment is based purely on what I read online somewhere. I agree that the general opinions on it are good and its only the flight time that worries me. What I did like is the discounted deal where you can get 2 studio suites for 1.5x the standard price, so we could pop the cot in one and do our own thing in the other of an evening - more space than a standard suite for lower cost.

FS Provence - been there pre-baby and really enjoyed it. It is still a possible although pushing the pram up and down the hill could be tricky ....

I'm finding that 'family friendly' is a phrase that really means nothing. The needs of an 18-month old who is still in a pushchair are totally different to those of an 8 year old and indeed a 13 year old. Toddlers mean minimal steps, minimal hills, minimal balconies, no private pools (too dangerous) .....

Had a look at the Aman, and I agree than a 2.5 hour drive from Dubrovnik to an 8-suite place with a lively toddler is probably not the best bet. Does look interesting, though.
