The FA making a public announcement about the alcohol was in poor judgment on an international flight. I don’t want to hear such announcements on a domestic flight and but on an international flight it’s just in poor taste. Certain things are best left unsaid and done discreetly.

Now the FA may have opened up themselves to jail time if they served alcohol to underage military personnel if the only proof for the complementary alcohol was showing a military ID.
