Would prefer anything within 3-4 hrs. of Hartford, as family is scattered in New England, DC, and Atlanta. Prefer ocean/waterfront, but lake is ok. More than one cottage/home would work best, to separate some of us ... or we get on each other's nerves! Would also like access to watersports. Doesn't have to be fancy, but not too rustic either. Want to be able to cook some meals, so hotels won't work. We have found rentals to work better for our group.
