relaxation BKK vs Hua Hin

Hi, I already posted the same bit in the Luxury Hotels post, but I thought I may get more responces on this forum... thanks

Hi, I just finished planning a two week vacation to Myanmar (Burma), and after finilazing all of the arrangements, I have 4 nights before the beginning of the trip in BKK. I'll be arriving from JFK via HKG at around 6pm and leaving 4 nights later at 7:20am for YGN.

I've never been to Thailand... but wanted to spend these first (almost) four nights to relax, unwind and get ready for a quite busy two week trip. So I first picked Hua Hin (Six Senses Hideaway), but after factoring 3 hour drive each way and an early flight out, I am wondering if I am going to be more stressed that relaxed.

Is there a possibility to really REALAX in BKK, or somewhere very close by, I was looking at Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons... but while they are really nice hotels, I am not sure if staying in BKK can provide for relaxation... Thanks
