Hi, suggest that you check availability every day if you really want it. I'm redeeming two AA awards (one in each direction) for CX F on the JFK/HKG route as part of a larger trip. The outbound was immediately available, but not the inbound. I was checking weekly, but saw nothing.

Then I started checking every day and I found that seats do open up, but vanish pretty quickly, presumably because someone else grabs them. Even though I'm now all set for my August departure and September return, I keep checking for curiosity. Same thing is happening. Seats are suddenly available one day then gone in a day or two.
