I'm spending 2-3 days in Kyoto, 1 day in nara and 1-2 days in Osaka (with a friend-host in osaka for the last day) next week. Living in a large city ourselves, I believe we'd rather spend lesser of the time in Osaka - 1 full day. Now my question is, whether or not can I spend 1 full day (early start) in nara, or a shorter day will suffice as I suppose Kyoto would take up most part of the 3 days i'm planning to be there.
