Thanks for making me feel good. I think there are some here that seem to agree with my idea and get the people on board while the going is good. I think DL people are foolish to not even use stickers for the first "X" months until EXP for the great bennies of being EXP from that time forward.

I was EXP from 1998, when they started, until 2003 when I went to NW. At that time EXP did not have free upgrades. It was pretty tough to make EXP in the first couple of years, only points and I think "Y" was only 1 point.

At that time I flew 100% domestic for business and used VIP and VIP2 for upgrades into "C". I'm now back with AA and fortunately PLT for life of program.

For me the stickers is not that big a deal since I know the game to watch for real full flights and upgrade those with my free stickers or buy some once in a while. I also remember when AA blocked seats so as EXP sometimes there would be one seat open and it was next to me.

By next year I'll be back in front with the rest of EXP's.
