I wasnt sure where the right place to post this question was so I thought since Delta Air Lines uses Terminal 4 at LHR and since the Heathrow Hilton is in terminal 4, maybe some Delta fanatic can help me with this question.

I am taking a Delta Air Lines flight from JFK to LHR on August 16, 2009 and since I am only going for that 50,000 delta miles special, I thought I would just go for the day and plane spot at LHR. I see that Hilton has a hotel in terminal 4 and since the price is right, I thought about staying there. However, is it possible to plane spot from the Hilton Heathrow? If so, can you do so from both public areas of the hotel and from the rooms? If from the rooms, can you be on any floor or do you need to be on a higher floor?
