I noticed a link on the website encouraging people to buy StarPoints.

1000 for $35 going up to 20000 for $700.

So apart from missing a trick by not making it better value the more you buy... does anyone here actually buy Starpoints?

There is a 20k maxiumum per year or you can get "friends" to gift them.

I am trying to work it out and for me I would usually do C&P redemptions. Using 20K of points up on a typical 4K stay means I would have paid well over the odds to get the bought miles - even if it is better value than spending $20k on the SPG Amex.
