Sit in seat 8K I guess, but on which plane? VS has 24-ish A340s so we really need to know what you are talking about? As to 'really', do your own research on the delivery date of Virgin's A346s. Or, do you know differently that VS only cycle one particular plane on this route. 'Cos, thing is, I've done it 12 times in the last three months and haven't observed either a) the same 'crappy' plane being used or b) a disaster specific to 8K.
I meant the 8am flight and I have edited my post to reflect it. The seat in question is 8k. Read my diatribe on the first post (i.e. post #1). I'm dead certain that VS uses the same plane because my co-worker flew VS two weeks ago and sat in 8k outbound (EWR-LHR) and made the same observation.
You can defend VS all you want but I have flown them and probably would not in the future if given the choice between BA and AA and FWIW, the last time I checked VS uses A346's to EWR.
You come across as being a bit defensive. Remember, this is my personal opinion and if you don't like it.........(aauh let me just stop here before I say something very nasty)
