Well, the HIE and the Hampton aren't REALLY in Park City. They are out at the Junction, Park City's version of the suburbs. Park City proper starts past the Catholic Church on HWY 224. Inside PC, we have the PC Mariott and the 2 Mariott Vacation places, The Peaks (used to be a Raddison), and The Yarrow. The Yarrow is seeking permission to renovate and expand. Outside of those, there are the high-enders up in Deer Valley. The Canyons did get bought by the Talisker Corp, a Canadian development co. They have some other real estate deals around PC. ASC had grand plans for The Canyons and it took a lot of hard work to get the landowners around it to go along with it. It still has issues - it was taking way too long for the development to go, and the not-yet-built golf course has long been a sore spot. It is interesting that there are still high-end things going in there. It's not in PC, so you have to drive into town. But, if your thing is out of bounds skiing, it's the place to be.
