100% of my op-ups (total of 1) have occurred on the plane. A young woman sitting behind me started talking to the FA and demanding to be allowed to upgrade to C, saying that she was a Premier Executive and had 50,000 miles in her account and that she was entitled to an upgrade based upon that mileage balance. She was willing to sacrifice 30K miles. She was rather rude to the FA.

I had mentioned briefly to the FA that my upgrade had not cleared so I was OK with sitting in row 30 on the 777.

The FA went away and came back a few minutes later. She handed the young woman a new BP with my seat number on it and told her that there was plenty of legroom in it. I was puzzled until the FA handed me my new BP--in C. The young woman was not pleased.
