I recall flying Air Comet to MAD a couple of years ago, and it being a poor experience all round - aircraft, service, food/drink, everything. Not helped by delays of several hours both ways - something you really notice when going away for a short weekend.
I don't understand people lumping Easyjet in with Ryanair. I've flown Easyjet a few times and the aircraft, punctuality and service standards have been consistently good.
One of my friends told me about a recent Ryanair experience - on a flight that hit a bit of (relatively mild) turbulence, the two cabin crew in the rear galley screamed. Perhaps BA crew can take a leaf out of their book? - it would make flying with BA much more fun if all cabin crew screamed whenever aircraft hit any tubulence
