You can do it but you'll have to move fast. Your LAX-SLC flight will land at the C or D concourse, your Skywest flight will leave from the E concourse. Turn right from C or D to head to E. There's a moving slidewalk that will help. Don't stop and shop, don't stop for food, just hustle down to E. I've done a similar tight connection and made it. If your original flight is late, you won't make it, so be prepared with alternate suggestions if you have to rebook.
