Malabo to Madrid (Equatorial Guinea) on Spanair. Over £5k for a business class ticket (8 years ago). Business class was no better than Euro economy class.

Pilot's slept on the first row of business class as they flew in and out of Malabo (anyone who's been to Malabo 8 years ago will understand why. Second row was kept clear so as not to disturb the pilots. Row 1 and 2 where the non-smoking rows!!! Spent 6 hours next to chain smoking Frenchmen. After protesting to cabin crew told to put up and shut up.
