Between May 2000 and May 2002, I stayed at this property about three weeks a month (since moved to Crystal City Hilton due to change in work location). This hotel is one of the friendliest I have stayed at. Exec lounge is so so but often has a pretty good selection of snacks at night. Breakfast is pretty bad and not as self service as others. If you are there over the weekend, this is all moot. Location is convenient. If you eat in the restaurant, their strip steak is fantastic. Sunday brunch is pretty good too. Plenty of free parking, across the street from the mall, and near metro. Hotel built in 84 (IIRC) but Exec floor remodeled not too long ago.
