Assuming that the OP is serious and not trying to stir out of boredom...:

I'd swap my AVOD for 5000 pts any time. I don't watch the dreaded thing (except when the duty free catalogue is on there, and for flight progress info purposes).

Why the modern society has become so dependent on the idiot box is beyond me.

In fact, I'd swap seat with anyone with a broken AVOD if they ask me nicely and say 'thank you' (but only if they are polite!). I don't care if mine works or not.
